Twice, Carvana sent her temporary, out-of-state, 90-day paper tags from Arizona. The last one expired in June, making it illegal for her even to drive the car.

The man purchased a vehicle from Carvana because walking around dealerships didn't sound appealing due to his back pain. But he Turned to Ted when months passed and he didn't have his registration.

He said Carvana unlawfully issued purchasers temporary vehicle registrations from other states, causing some customers to be ticketed after those temporary registrations expired after 90 days.
