From the varying experiences that passengers shared, it seems that Carnival doesn’t have one specific thing that it does to celebrate passengers’ birthdays. It’s easy to see though that crew members are eager to go out of their way to help make the day special when they know a passenger is celebrating a special occasion on board.

While some guests would prefer if this comfort beverage brand was offered, most thought it was completely unnecessary.

Most major cruise lines, including both Carnival and Royal Caribbean, offer free brewed coffee throughout the day. At the very least, it can be found in the buffet area and in the main dining room, but it’s not uncommon to see coffee stations set up in other locations,

Many Carnival cruisers also get by with the help of an onboard chat option available in the Carnival HUB app. The onboard messaging feature costs $5 per passenger for the voyage and offers Carnival cruisers a way to communicate with family and friends who are also on board the ship.
