Earlier this year she released her second book, "Candice Olson Kitchens & Baths," (Wiley, $19.99). The idea book features Olson's signature redesigns with "before" photos for each project.

Combining those needs and functions can be tricky. Olson's "Bedrooms" features 25 room makeovers. Each makeover comes with the before picture, a floor plan, a mood board and sumptuous after pictures.
