Unfortunately, the White Ash and Canadian Hemlock trees are suffering similar fates. Both of the invasive bugs that attack these trees cut off the nutrients they would normally get to survive.

The Eastern hemlock has soft needles and an upright, open habit of growth with a conical shape. The trees grow very tall, 40-60 feet tall, but there are shorter cultivars.
