Weekend rain helped firefighters gain ground on the deadly Palisades and Eaton fires, which started Jan. 7 in a Santa Ana windstorm and destroyed entire neighborhoods. In northern LA County, cooler conditions aided the fight against the Hughes Fire. See below for Tuesday morning updates on the three fires.

There are no evacuation orders in place now for the Eaton and Sepulveda Fires in LA County, the Clay Fire in Riverside County or the Laguna Fire in Ventura County. Evacuation orders were in place for areas near the Laguna Fire but have since been changed to evacuation warnings, according to Cal Fire.

The Clay Fire has sparked in Riverside County on Tuesday night as wildfires continue to plague Southern California.

Although evacuation orders have since been lifted for most of LA County, fire survivors continue to face the road to recovery as they focus on rebuilding.

As of Thursday afternoon, six active wildfires are burning in Southern California, and maps shared on the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) website show how each one has grown.

At the time of publication, the Laguna fire had burned approximately 50 acres and was still listed at 0 percent containment, according to Cal Fire. Evacuation warnings, which indicate a "potential threat to life and/or property," were in effect for "Laguna Zone 1" and "Laguna Zone 2."
