This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette is not what it seems. Currently up for auction via The Market by Bonhams, it combines the body shell of a C3 Corvette with hardware from later C5 and C6 models.

Over the years, many in the Corvette world have embraced the idea of the restomod. You take an old C1, C2, or C3, and somehow get it to behave like a modern C5 or C6.

To ensure that this Corvette handles as well as it accelerates, the restomod includes a Jim Myers independent coil-over front suspension and a parallel 4-link suspension at the rear.
