When the brothers, who are originally from the Philippines, started the SaskHoops Elite Basketball club, their initial idea was to help kids from the Filipino community in Saskatoon.

The Saint John U-18 boys Division 1 soccer team is made up mostly of newcomers from 11 different countries. The club made history by winning the provincial championship for the first time.
