JOHANNESBURG - The City of Tshwane has assured its residents that technicians are in the final stages of restoring the Brakfontein substation, which was damaged by a fire earlier in April.

Large parts of Centurion are still without electricity on April 8 following an explosion at the Brakfontein Substation that occurred last week. The explosions were heard on April 3 just before 20:00.
