Being able to successfully build a world both new and familiar for Blue Sky’s “Epic” shows just how far the studio’s computer animation capabilities have come in a decade’s time.

Epic is based on William Joyce's children's book known as The Leaf Men, being directed by Chris Wedge (who previously directed the first Ice Age and Robots for Blue Sky, plus voices Scrat, too).
