The caw of the once-endangered and now thriving Peregrine falcon can be heard in this week's edition of In Town and Out's Bird Tweet of the Week.

The results of Vancouver's second city bird election are in, and the winner is the Peregrine Falcon. That species topped the polls with 115,164 votes, or 41 percent of the total ballots cast.

Brad Clark called the peregrine falcon an "amazing bird" that soars high up on hot air currents and dives down for prey. He joked those living in downtown would be flying on hot air from city hall.
