Those sneaky file searchers over at the 2K Games forums have uncovered a few text strings embedded in the PC version of BioShock's game code which hint at a new set of plasmids coming our way ...

Released on February 9, BioShock 2 (2K; PC, PS3, Xbox 360; rated mature), the sequel to the sleeper hit of 2007, begins in much the same way as the first.

That would be a story. Check out the Editor's blog for the full interview transcript. BioShock 2 is due out for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and has a "tentative" release date of 30th October for Europe.

BioShock 2, we know, will also feature multiplayer, although any further details are absent. We recently flew out to 2K Marin to see BioShock 2. Our thoughts are embargoed for a few more weeks.

On to the game itself, BioShock 2 does play incredibly simialar to the first game. The mechanics remain the same for the most part other than minor changes, including duel-wielding with Plasmids ...
