Funnily enough, Deadpool has been part of not one, not two, but three Avengers teams. One of those teams consisted of some of the Marvel Universe's worst villains.

Marvel fans who prefer standalone graphic novels to monthly comics have a new outlet in Abrams ComicArts' Marvel Arts line.

In an interview with Variety, Reynolds was asked about the possibility of Deadpool returning in an Avengers film. “I’m not even being cagey,” he said, before laughing.

Deadpool’s journey with the Avengers has always intrigued fans. The Merc with a Mouth initially joined forces with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the ‘Avengers & X-Men: Axis ’ miniseries.

There’s a running joke in the movie about Deadpool being “ Marvel Jesus,” but one look at this list, which includes three Avengers films, will show that they weren't exactly exaggerating.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool & Wolverine 2024, directed by Shawn Levy, turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office.

But Deadpool 3 is so good that it deserves to reach that level. It’ll be interesting to see if it can reach $2 billion, a figure normally reserved for Avengers movies.

Instead, Deadpool would be at Paradox’s disposal, executing every order he got in the hopes of getting on the Avengers roster. That is, until he’d realize Paradox played him.
