The 2D animated series, headed up by Avatar creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, is currently in production, and will span 26 half-hour episodes over the course of two seasons (or "books").

It is slated for release Sept. 5. Avatar: The Last Airbender–Team Avatar Tales arrives Sept. 5. Dark Horse The second, Avatar: The Last Airbender – Imbalance Part One, debuts Oct. 10.
