FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball took a big step toward securing a national seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament this weekend by sweeping a three-game series against No. 1 Texas.

The Baseball America poll also moved Texas up one spot. There, the Longhorns came in at No. 5 behind Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina and LSU.

Then Saturday, Texas finally got its offense untracked and took a 7-6 lead in the top of the fifth inning. It took virtually no time for Arkansas to change that in-game momentum.
