ARGYLE, Texas — On the heels of Texas House Bill 2 being signed into law, Argyle ISD is making bold investments in its classrooms that go beyond the historic investment from the state.

The Argyle school board voted unanimously Monday to give teachers a one-time $1,000 payment, as well as a $500 one-time payment for paraprofessionals and auxiliary employees.
