For starters, Weaver is a former player. His time with the Ravens and Texans saw him play for Brian Billick and Gary Kubiak. He has coached in the NFL since 2012, working under Rex Ryan and the Jets to start as an assistant defensive line coach. He also played under Ryan when he was with the Ravens. Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is one step closer to landing a head coaching job this hiring cycle. The New Orleans Saints are bringing in Weaver for a second interview for their head coaching vacancy on Wednesday,

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Saints are hosting Giants OC Mike Kafka for a second HC interview on Tuesday. Pelissero also reported that Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver will have a second HC interview with New Orleans on Wednesday.
