Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is set to include Amy Rose as one of it's main characters, and she could completely change one of the movies' core themes.

Amy Rose, also known as Rosie the Rascal, was introduced in 1993's Sonic CD. She was playable in a couple of spin-off racing games before her proper gameplay debut in 1999's Sonic Adventure.
