The team constructed frog saunas in an outdoor enclosure using a selection of widely available, inexpensive materials — a drop-over greenhouse, ten-hole masonry bricks, black paint, and cable ties.

According to the plan, amphibians are "the most threatened vertebrate class on earth." Of all amphibious species in the world, Trudeau said about 40 per cent are threatened.

The goliath frog's body can grow up to 33cm long and weighs up to 3.25kg. It flexes its muscles by constructing homes for its young before standing guard like an amphibious bouncer.
