If you're using the new Facebook Timeline format, there are no buttons to change the basic friends layout, and your friends will appear in a random order each time instead of an alphabetical order.

Word can sort alphabetically, as well as numerically and by date. If you format your list into a bullet or numerical list prior to the sort, Word will sort the data and retain the list format.
