Tennis elbow is almost always the result of injury from repeated action, such as swinging a tennis racquet or, in Stanton’s case, a baseball bat, said Dr. Guillem Gonzalez-Lomas, an orthopedic surgeon at New York University Langone Health.

TAMPA, Fla. — Giancarlo Stanton was a lot more consistent than Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and every other Yankees hitter during last October’s World Series run. Turns out that through it all Big G, according to manager Aaron Boone, was dealing with “some elbow stuff.”
