The landslide was reported around 7:15 a.m. after a portion of the cliff tumbled down onto the beach, which is also known as Thousand Steps Beach.

Early in the morning on Friday, January 31st, beneath the multi-million-dollar homes dotting the cliffside at the ever-popular, idyllic 1,000 Steps Beach, a cliff collapsed onto the shore.
