Hurricane Milton began its turn toward Florida on Tuesday rebounding back to Category 5 strength with a forecast landfall on the Gulf Coast south of Tampa Bay still as a major hurricane and the threat of 15-foot storm surge,

At 2 p.m., Milton was a Category 4 hurricane with 155-mph winds. A Category 5 hurricane has winds of 157 mph. At 2 p.m., hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 30 miles from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles.
