The Junior Proteas Women side have one final hurdle to climb to clinch South Africa’s second under-19 World Cup trophy after thumping Australia by five-wickets in their semi-final.

England Women U19's journey at the ICC Women's U19 World Cup came to an end at the semi-final stage, as they were beaten by nine wickets by India. Batting first, England were in a good position at just over the halfway mark of their innings, 81-2, with Warwickshire's Davina Perrin looking good on 45.

Parunika had a major task to achieve after England were off to a flying start, racing to 37 for no loss after four overs. She made an instant impact, removing Jemima Spence and Trudy Johnson to stem the flow of runs, before coming back to dismiss the dangerous Katie Jonesas the rivals were restricted to 113/8.
