The series, based on the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name, is set 15 years after the events of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” Conforti joins previously announced cast members Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday, Ann Dowd, and Rowan Blanchard.

EXCLUSIVE: Rowan Blanchard ( Poker Face, Snowpiercer) has joined the series regular cast of Hulu ‘s The Handmaid’s Tale sequel series The Testaments, sources confirm to Deadline. She joins the previously announced leads, Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday and Ann Dowd, who returns as her original character, Aunt Lydia.

The Testaments takes place 15 years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale and tracks the lives of Lydia, Agnes, and Daisy through alternating POVs. All three are questioning their relationships to Gilead. The series is created and showrun by Bruce Miller.
