The Alters, a sci-fi adventure from Frostpunk 2 studio 11 bit, has been delayed until 2025 in order to add some extra polish.

Fans of 11 bit studios (of Frostpunk and This War of Mine fame) will have to wait a little longer to set off on a space survival journey with their clones. The Polish survival game specialists have expressed their sorrow through an Ally Corp communiqué informing would-be space miners that The Alters was coming out in Q1 2025.

In an in-character post on Xwitter, the devs said that the game would arrive in "Q1 2025", as opposed to sometime later this year. Essentially, they want to "polish each phase of the project" and "ensure that every aspect of your journey is as seamless as possible".
