Washingtonians awoke to a fresh coat of snow Wednesday, creating traffic problems. Seattle schools went to remote learning, with a two-hour delay.

Several locations will likely see record low temperatures by Tuesday morning, and a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect till 10 a.m. Temperatures will moderate and return to near normal by the end of the weekend and early next week with a chance for showers.

We're tracking a big cooldown ahead for Seattle and western Washington this upcoming workweek. For Super Bowl Sunday, we're forecasting mostly dry and cool conditions. Morning clouds will give way to late afternoon sunbreaks Sunday in Seattle.

The snow continues to be hit-or-miss, with eastern and northern areas of Western Washington seeing more white stuff than Seattle.

After tracking scattered snow on Sunday morning, there's still a possibility for on-and-off rain/snow showers in the region through at least Monday.
