Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman on Sunday has been offered an in-person hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety, one day after he received a match penalty for roughing Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle.

The Wild winger was assessed a five-minute match penalty for pushing Ottawa Senators center Tim Stützle’s face into the ice off a faceoff during Saturday night’s 6-0 loss. An in-person hearing means the NHL has the option to suspend a player for six or more games.
