A red flag warning has been posted for most of the southern half of the state for Friday.As fire departments across our region hope to see some rain soon, the strong winds, dry air and the ongoing drought mean there is a high fire risk.

Departments across the state and over state lines have assisted each other with November's dry conditions, and the higher number of brush fires that come along with it.
