Ohio officials have denounced a small contingent of neo-Nazis who paraded Saturday afternoon through a Columbus neighborhood – waving flags featuring swastikas and shouting a racist slur – in the latest public demonstration by White nationalists in recent years across the United States.

Ohio leaders and Jewish groups condemned the protest on Saturday; the White House joined in on denouncing the hate group Monday morning.

The demonstration in Columbus on Saturday, part of a recent pattern of white supremacist incidents in the country, was condemned by officials around the state.
