The Elkhart County Prosecutors Office says it will hold a news conference this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. to provide “additional information regarding the facts surrounding” the Monday evening shooting left three people dead, including the suspect, and injured two police officers.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office identified the two people killed in the grocery: Benjamin S. Jeffery, 49, and Annasue Rocha, 19, both of Elkhart. Rocha worked at Martin’s, and Jeffery was a customer in the grocery.

Community Foundation of Elkhart County to help those impacted by Martin’s shooting
The foundation has already begun collecting money through its Community Crisis Fund, which was first created back in 2007. Foundation President Pete McCown says the money will not go directly to victims at this time, but it will be given to other groups who will then use the money to help those impacted by the shooting.
