The East Bay didn't see as much storm damage from Tuesday's atmospheric river as other parts of the Bay Area where tree limbs fell down and power was out for thousands of customers.

An atmospheric river from the north that made its first push into the Bay Area over the weekend got its second wind Monday night, “over-performing” the National Weather Service’s expectations, the agency said. The storm, which is “stronger than expected,” caused minor to moderate flooding in some areas.
