After a public meeting Tuesday night, Bartow City Commissioners will vote on March 17th on whether or not to continue to have fluoride in the drinking water.

Another city in Polk County has moved one step closer to removing fluoride from its water. On March 17, Bartow City Commissioners are expected to vote on whether or not to continue adding fluoride to the water.

Municipalities nationwide are considering removing fluoride from drinking water, but one Florida city won't be among them.

The Lake Mary City Commission will discuss whether or not to remove fluoride from the drinking water at a meeting tonight. Several local cities have opted to remove it, including Longwood earlier this week.

Bartow City Commissioners will digest the information from health experts and community feedback received on Tuesday before voting on the matter in mid-March.
