Zvíkovec is located about 24 kilometres north of Rokycany and 31 km northeast of Plzeň. It lies in the Plasy Uplands. The highest point is the Střežatka hill at 434 m above sea level. The municipality is situated on the right bank of the Berounka River. The eastern part of the municipal territory extends into the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area.
