Gulfshore Playhouse is a professional theatre using professional actors, most of whom come from New York, are members of Actors’ Equity Association and who have many credits regionally, in film, television, and on Broadway. They use only professional designers, crew and creatives to produce and create their shows specifically for Naples audiences. The Naples Players are a nationally recognized community theater. This means that they use volunteers as cast and crew. Several of the volunteers have professional theater experience, however it is not a professional theater in the sense of paying its cast and crew. This does not mean the caliber of show is "less than professional" however.
