Was here for Dinner first of all. I had the Fish and Fries which was good and then the walk down to the stands for the parade which was good to see but for me not a must do and back to the centre and… Full review by wahaejock

Much too crowded to enjoy properly with queues everywhere. The penguins are so cute but cameras were everywhere putting them as risk. Full review by Gwenda2024

All of a sudden they appear! You wait and wait and then out of the sea they, it was funny and cute watching them. NO PHOTOGRAPHY after sunset, but you are provided with a catalogue of photos to use. … Full review by FamilyAdventure2011

Hi. We are a family group of 6 across 3 generations coming at Easter. I am completely confused about the differences between the tickets. My eldest child has autism and so no tolerance of people blocking his view or making too much noise around him if he's trying to concentrate on something so I am concerned about the large loud crowds and how that could detract from the experience. So I would like an option that means smaller groups. He also has adhd meaning he struggles to sit still so also would like an option that allows us to move around between different viewing areas and definitely wouldn't want to be indoors only. Can someone please add a bit more colour to the ticket option descriptions to help me choose? Thank you.

Both their General Viewing & Penguin Plus tickets are outdoor. The crowd are asked to be quiet and respectful, but there will be some noise around when the penguins emerge from the sea waters. It will be difficult to maintain social distancing, as depending on the day, it can get packed, even in the Penguin Plus tickets. Underground Viewing tickets, as the name suggests, will be underground and indoor, which I won't recommend as it could be claustrophobic for your kid. It will be best to speak to the organizers directly so that they can address your requirement and recommend the best tickets for you. I can see that they have the following night tours: Guided Ranger Tour, Ultimate Adventure Tour, and Family Wildlife Tour (Available Fri & Sat through the school holidays). These might be better, but as I said earlier, it's best to speak to them.

Melbourne to Phillip island is approx 2 hour plus drive, just depends upon traffic. i think you may be best to arrange a proper tour on the area out of melbourne, i am sure they have servicing doing this to phillip island. getting to phillip island, i am tipping you could also catch train from flinders st, and get out at Cranbourne station, then i am sure there is a bus service from Cranbourne to Phillip island. if you drove straight from Cranbourne to Phillip island, is around one hour, but the bus may take longer as it stops along the way. if the bus drops you in township of Cowes on Phillip Island, you still need to get out to the phillip island reserve which is approx 20 minutes out of the main township of cowes, not sure if bus runs out to their, but maybe a local once does, you really need to go by car to this place to get around
