This was on the south east side. But no guarantees they don’t drive all over the park. Personally, have fun but be aware that they will check up on you and find any reason at all to do so. Even if it’s just fishing. If you have a speeding ticket warrant, this is definitely not a secluded place. You will get arrested. It may be safe, but very intrusive. But after they check on a person, they will disappear and investigate another profiled candidate. I may be completely wrong, but if you have a family and not a couple, you may not be harassed.

Solar showers are great! Pick one up at any sporting goods retailer. Just get away from the water before lathering up.

I was just out there last month. No reservations required, but beware, summer weekends and holidays can get crowded.

No bonfires, only small fires in the fire pits and BBQ grills. Bring your own firewood. No fires allowed when the fire danger is high.

The east side of the park has flat, beach areas, perfect for picnics and swim/float. Just keep to the right as you enter the park.
