it's a church situated in the red light district, there is admission fee to visit, and it's quite expensive, so we just took the picture of its exterior. it's beautiful outside.Full review by ELKW

Would love to see this De Oude Kerk church during our visit. Is it really needed to purchase "advanced" tickets ??? OR would it be pretty easy not insane lines to get tickets there ?? I did see somebody mentioned they are restoring as april2017

When I was there in early April this year in the middle of the day, there were maybe only five other people there. It certainly was very quite. There's really no need to buy 'advanced tickets,' I didn't even know they had that. We didn't get an Amsterdam Holland Pass, but I would recommend one if you're planning on seeing other museums or attractions you need to pay for. Looking back, we could've saved a ton of money.
