Old Sturbridge Village, the largest outdoor history museum in the Northeast, depicts a rural New England town of the 1830s. Marvel at more than 40 original buildings, including homes, meetinghouses, a district school, country store, bank, working farm, three water-powered mills, and trade shops - all situated on more than 200 scenic acres. Visitors can meet heritage breed farm animals and interact with authentically costumed staff. Mission: Old Sturbridge Village, a museum and learning resource of New England life, invites each visitor to find meaning, pleasure, relevance, and inspiration through the exploration of history.

A:
They are not open Mondays or Tuesdays. They seem to have limited staff as well since even when they are open not all of the exhibits are open or staffed. Many have limited hours.
Q:
Are you open every day?
A:
Hours vary seasonally. We are currently open Wednesday - Sunday. You can always check the footer of our website or the VISIT page on our website for our current and upcoming hours.
