A must-see for anyone visiting Sicily. You can learn about the life of the nobility there. The mosaics and the stories behind them are simply fascinating. It was hard for us to leave the place.Full review by Shuki Z

I need to decide where to stay overnight if I want to go to Villa Romana del Casale. I am in Ragusa and will head to Agrigento next. I don't know if I can do it in one day starting in Ragusa and end the day in Agrigento or do I need to stop by another town in between overnight?

We did stay one night between Agrigento and Ragusa, but we were on a tour and did did do a lot of sightseeing on the way.

Hello, Etna transporti bus company has a direct bus leaving Catania bus station at 10:30 AM, dropping you at the entrance door at 12:30. A return bus is picking you at the same place at 16:30 and dropping you back at Catania bus station at 16:15. Cost of both tickets is about 14 euros per person but buy tickets in advance at the ticket counter close by the bus station, to verify time table and to avoid stress running around looking for it. You have enough time at the Villa Romana to eat lunch, visit and relax before taking return bus. Very practical and best bus servive . Best secret in town ! Enjoy
