Hello! Thank you for your interest in Kayak Lake Powell. We do have an age requirement of 7 and above. During our summer months June-Aug the water temperature is a warm 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. During the colder months we do recommend staying out of the water due to the cold temps. You are welcome to use a wet suit if you have any.

We did the first tour in the morning and the waters have been absolutly calm. I brought my camera without any problems, a lot of people in our tour used cameras or cell phones. If you keep informed about expected wind-conditions, your equpipment should be safe. You could also ask the tour guide about the actual conditions before starting the tour. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
