For some reason I remember a similar sculpture being in a park called Point defiance. Back in the 80's.
A:
Know it was moved to this location from somewhere else. There is also one called the Awakening II somewhere.

Was the awakening sculpter ever located in Washington state or in the state of Colorado? If so which city please?

O never in Washington State. It was designed & built for Haines Point in DC back in 60-70's
