It’s a nice place, we checked out the lake and spill way. The beach/swim area appears rather small. The bathroom by the spill way is basically an out house.Full review by wallflowerone

What do I need to bring in the way of tools, gloves, hats, clothing?

I'm afraid when we went, we could not dig for crystals as this is only open during certain times of year. We just hiked.
