A gorgeous old light house complex which does not open until the season starts. There were several information plaques that explained some of the history. It is another perfect sunset viewing spot.Full review by jefner89

if you are going into Oak Bluffs it is totally walkable. you can catch a sightseeing bus (school bus) to tour the island. you can rent bikes and scooters, too. Nice town, gingerbread houses, homemade fudge, chowder, antique merry-go-round, shops, and beach, too. Good first visit idea is to take the Island Queen out of Falmouth for the day.

From Falmouth, Ma, drive towards Woods Hole on Woods Hole Road. (It is a very short drive.) Just as you approach the village of Woods Hole, turn left onto Church St. Cross a wooden bridge and admire the magnificent homes along the road. Within a half mile Nobska Beach will appear on your right just as you approach the water. Nobska Light will be visible ahead. The island of Martha's Vineyard can also be seen across Vineyard Sound. After, or before, your visit to Nobska, stop in Woods Hole for lunch or dinner, visit the aquarium and stroll through the village.
Q:
Can you go inside the lighthouse and climb the stairs?
A:
Unfortunately not... but the grounds and view are definitely worth the visit.
