Hello! Thank you for your interest in Kayak Lake Powell. We do have an age requirement of 7 and above. During our summer months June-Aug the water temperature is a warm 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. During the colder months we do recommend staying out of the water due to the cold temps. You are welcome to use a wet suit if you have any.

I am not sure we did the morning tour of the canyon and then the afternoon kayak. It was perfect because we swam a lot in the lake. My son loved it
how calm are the waters for the antelope canyon kayak tour? Is it safe enough to bring a camera backpack and DSLR?
A:
If you take the early kayak tour, you have better chances of having calm (and awesome) waters. The later tours usually end up having high winds and super choppy waters.
