A must see if you like to see a state capital. Smaller in size but worth the visit. The library was just amazing and jaw dropping beautiful! Full review by Shawn S

Has the capitol reopened to public tours?
A:
I don't know. I don't live in Des Moines so don't get the local news there. So sorry!

Is the tour pet friendly?
A:
Maybe service animals. I would call the Capitol Bldg. and ask.

Are large electronics, such as laptops, allowed?
A:
I took my iPad and took photos. I don’t know about laptops. Make sure to go and see the law library. It’s magnificent.

Is parking hard to find? Where do you park?
A:
Parking is really easy and free. There is a huge lot across the street. Also, after you park, you’ll see signs close to the building directing you where to enter.

A:
There is no cost. Admission and the tour are free of charge.
