Lovely falls and the tiny funicular is wonderfully quaint. Best accessed by boat or you can park above the falls, walk down to the hotel and the get the funicular to the lake and back or walk back. F…Full review by Peak-District-Ian

Hi, after the boat leaves you at the station you will have to take a little train up, which costs some minimal amount. However, there is also a trail up on which you could hike. not sure …

However, there is also a trail up on which you could hike. not sure about the timings, but yes a great place to hike, has a superb view and u can enjoy the waterfall from various heights.
