It’s a very nice area but you need to find the elks in there which can be tricky. Try to walk on the pavement near the parking which goes parallel to the road and see if you can see them at the end. …Full review by rosenbergeso

We were hoping to see Elk driving around Alpena/Gaylord but since we didn't, this was a great option! There were several Elk, some with a huge rack.Full review by Deb S
