I've never really found LTT that interesting (please don't hurt me!) but I love a lot of educational content that seems to be in danger of getting purged from youtube, mainly chemistry related stuff (chemplayer booted from yt, cody's lab and nurdrage getting repeated strikes etc)

WEBThere is wasserflug on Apple TV. It’s an unofficial floatplane app that works very well. I honestly wouldn’t subscribe to floatplane without it because I also like to watch most things on my TV. A native app would be lovely but until then, I just cast the feed from my phone to my nVidea shield.

WEBDec 21, 2021 · Floatplane is broadly mentioned and promoted, including in YouTube videos - by those creators who use Floatplane. There is some mention and promotion by fans of the service and project, but generalized advertisement and promotion makes very little sense - that would (IMO) only really be relevant to (other) creators, not really viewers.

WEBAug 13, 2022 · Patreon/floatplane's model is targeting superfans/whales, and to those people, they can burn a month's subscription to try it out, as they probably are the ones sending merch messages etc. The new social media coordinator seems to be pushing more exclusives than before (at least they are plugging it more).
